Work-Stations

IVF-Workstations by K-Systems

The K-Systems workstations are designed to meet the special requirements of oocyte, embryo and sperm handling in IVF. In the search for constant improvements the concept of K-Systems is continuously being developed in close cooperation with Scandinavian scientists, specializing in embryology and gynaecology.

Options for K-Systems Workstations

Tunnel
In order to improve the work flow in the IVF clinic, K-Systems can now offer a new option in the IVF Workstation. With an integrated tunnel the embryologist will be able to receive the oocyte directly from the pick-up room trough the tunnel and handle them immediately in the workstation. This process reduces the time the oocytes are in a unheated and unstable environment.

Incorporated screen
K-Systems now also offer the possibility of having a built-in monitor in the IVF workstation. This will enable the embryologist to discuss which oocyte to use. The monitor can also be used in relation to education.

Galaxy Micro Incubator built into K-Systems IVF Workstations
The customization of the built in Galaxy Micro Incubator is manufactured in a way that enables the user to install the incubator and remove it easily without the need of tools. To ensure that no additional turbulence is created, the built-in incubator is placed inside the backwall. The built-in incubator optimizes the culture conditions because the desired temperature and CO2-level inside the incubator are reestablished fast. Additionally, the use of the built-in incubator reduces the number of openings of the large CO2-incubators.

Electrical and Gassing Outlet
With a K-System IVF Workstation we also offer the option of an incorporated external gassing outlet and the possibility of having a built-in electrical outlet.

Choice of microscopes
Oocyte pick-up, embryo handling and micromanipulation require microscopes of different magnitude. Most common models of stereo zoom microscopes, transmitted light sources and inverted microscopes can be built into the K-Systems Workstations.

Installation and service by MTG engineers
Incubator hoods
Maintains the right pH of the media and protects the dish from being cooled by the airflow in the workstation. Using an incubator hood is a simple and highly effective way of maintaining the right conditions of the media in culture dishes and tubes

Glass incubator hoods
G-01 For gassing of culture dishes. Diameter 140 mm, height 75 mm
G-02 For gassing of media and samples. Diameter 130 mm, height130 mm
G-03 For gassing of culture dishes. Diameter 140 mm, height 25 mm

Stainless steel incubator hoods
G-11 For gassing of two culture dishes. Dimensions 160 x 105 x 20 mm
G-21 For gassing of one culture dish. Dimensions 105 x 85 x 22 mm
