Cassettes for storage of straws (various colours, pack size 100 pcs.)

Rectangular or triangular cassettes made of plastic, comprising of two parts; the transparent tubular body and the colored lift. Available in 6 different colors (per size/shape) for better identification of stored samples. The main body is made from PVC, the colored lift is made from Polypropylene (PP).

Cassettes can be used for storage of individual or small numbers of straws for cryo-preservation of biological material in liquid nitrogen tanks. They are used as an alternative to goblets (small plastic beakers), which are suitable for storage of bulk quantities only, as in the veterinary industry.

Capacity of canisters:
Diameter of canister 38 mm: will take 6 triangular cassettes or 12 flat cassettes
Diameter of canister 65 mm: will take 15 triangular cassettes or 33 flat cassettes

Neither the main body nor the lift comes in contact with the patient, gamete or embryo.

Clamp for canister:
For ease of straw removal from cassettes
our products feature a specially developed
canister clamp (17062/0000). The clamp holds
the canister at the opening of the container as
the cassette is opened and the straw is removed.
