Upgrades for CTE880 / CTE920 freezers
Three years ago, MTG launched a new generation of CTE security straws which are fully sealed, meeting the demands of the European tissue guideline. Existing CTE880 and CTE920 controlled rate freezers have to be modified to be able to work with the new straws.
Modifications include a new base plate which is attached to the end of the bail and carries the reference straw with the temperature sensor and a set of holders for the new security straws. The new base plate can easily be installed by the user. To keep procedures flexible, updated freezers are able to work with both conventional CTE straws and new CTE security straws.
