OCTAX Log & Guard™

The maintenance and control of all culture and storage parameters in IVF and cryopreservation labs are key elements of quality management systems and various directives. OCTAX Log & Guard™ is the first monitoring and alarming system which has been specially designed to cover all needs of assisted reproduction. Whether you need to survey incubators (temperature, pH or CO₂) or fridges, freezers and LN₂ storage tanks (temperature) - free your mind as OCTAX Log & Guard™ keeps track of optimal conditions!

OCTAX Log & Guard™ takes independent measurements through peripheral temperature, pH or CO₂ sensors and saves all values to an internal flash memory. It raises alarm if any of the values leaves the pre-defined normal range. Alarming can be done via acoustical and optical signals or by sending text messages to up to three mobile phones of your choice. It is also possible to transmit alarm events to external devices via output relays or receive and forward external alarms via alarm input interfaces.

OCTAX Log & Guard™ is independent of any PC. Visualization and download of logged data as well as easy channel management is done via web interface from any PC in your intranet. Alarming conditions and thresholds, measurement intervals and many other parameters can be set individually to perfectly adapt the monitoring network to your individual lab.
